	The hall is on the High Street, about 200 yards south (towards Colchester) of the church.

There is limited parking at the hall itself, but there is a very large, free, car park on Mill Lane – about a ten-minute pleasant stroll. There is also free on street parking limited to two hours along the High Street.

Dedham is most famous for featuring in paintings by Constable but its artistic claims also include the Munnings Museum established in the house where the renowned horse painter lived for many years. Dedham is on the Essex / Suffolk borders and the border is marked by the river Stour which is a popular place for walking, boating and admiring the wildlife.

The Dedham Book Fair runs on Easter Mondays. Fairs here started in 1994, and rain or shine (although it mostly seems to shine!) it has proved to be a very popular day.

A variety of homemade refreshments are available at the fair, ranging from bacon sandwiches to cream cakes. Dedham also has two well-known pubs, with good reputations for food, and other eating-places by the river.

The exhibitor capacity at Dedham is 21 and the hall is invariably fully booked with dealers from far and wide.
